Veterans Day Weekend 2027- Volunteer Training Invite Only

Each year Mind Over Land sets aside Veterans Day weekend for more than remembrance. We use the time to prepare. Our volunteers are the heart of our mission and the difference between a safe and meaningful experience in the field and a trip that falls short. This training weekend brings together selected volunteers for a focused and practical immersion in our approach to overlanding, fieldcraft, veteran support, and team operations.

The environment of the training is intentional. Instruction is hands-on and rooted in real-world scenarios drawn from lessons learned throughout the year. Participants practice everything from vehicle recovery and camp setup to the quiet skills of hosting veterans who may be meeting us for the first time. Each session is built around a simple guiding question: what does it take to create an experience that helps a veteran breathe again and be outside the walls of their own mind.
