Dear Mind Over Land Participants,

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that the 2024 Mind Over Land Veterans Day event is being postponed. Due to the significant impact of Hurricane Helene and the widespread devastation in Western North Carolina, including the closures of Pisgah and Cherokee National Forests, we have been in close communication with the National Forest Service. Their guidance, based on the current state of the region, has made it clear that it would not be safe or advisable to move forward with the event at this time. We have not determined a make-up date at this time but will communicate with the larger community when/if the time is right.Â
