Spearhead Trail

A series of trails in the Southwest Virgina region leading you through 7 counties.  The trails are mainly for ATV but several of the trails are for street legal 4x4s.  We stay at Cavitts Creek Campground and ride in each day to the trails.  They range from easy to fairly difficult but drivers can choose their level of comfort.

Please note that this trip, along with Veterans Day 2024 are the ONLY trips/events that we have that are family friendly.  Thats right, this trip you can bring your family with you.  We will provide lunch, dinner and coffee in the morning for everyone (breakfast is on your own).  The trails are a set of defined trails within the spearhead system.  Please also note, that we will base camp at the campground and that the trails are SELF GUIDED.  We will give you a map and coordinates and well as ratings for the trails and you and your family will go out and explore on your own while we hold down the fort (campsite) and ensure that belonings are okay/safe.

Mind Over Land will also provide passes for the trail system at no cost.  That's right, no cost for the trails and NO cost for meals.

Campsites will be shared, two vehicles to a campsite, so if you need your own space you will need to arrange that on your own.
